On the 22nd October 2018, Ambong-Ambong Rainforest Retreat and Ambong Pool Villas organized a bi-monthly cocktail party held exclusively for guests. This exclusive event was held at Villa Raya, from one of the most stunning viewpoints in Langkawi.
A total of more than 20 guests were entertained by the “Ambong Traditional Dancers”, guests were also treated to a relaxing in-house massage by Ishan Spa whilst at the same time enjoyed delicious local delicacies and cocktails prepared by the team.
The Ambong Traditional Dancers made up of seven dancers in total, led by Leeza who is the Head of Housekeeping, Leeza’s team members Fazirah, Adlina and Din who are from the Housekeeping team, Yanie from Front Office and last but not least Aziah from the Finance team. This Amazing Ambong team curated a special performance for guests known as Truly Malaysia, Joget Malay Dance, Asyik *a performance reserved only for Kings, Endang Negeri Sembilan, Wau Bulan Kelantan, Poco Poco Sumatra Indonesia and the final performance of the night Lodeh Mak Lodeh which saw guests up alongside the dancers, dancing the night away.
This exclusive bi-monthly cocktail event delighted guests with free-flow of beverages including beers, wines & cocktails, and also included local delicacies such as Roti Jala, literally translated as “fishing net bread”, Murtabak, which is a pan fried flatbread stuffed with meat, and all-time favourite Satay, a dish of seasoned and skewered grilled meat served with a rich peanut sauce.
It did not just stop there, part of the event ensured that our guests are to be pampered with a complimentary massage by Ishan Spa therapists Choesnoel and Laila. As the Ishan team worked their magic, it gave the opportunity for our guests to relax and take in the spectacular sunset sea views.
